Delhi court extends Engineer Rashid’s interim bail till October 28

Delhi’s Patiala House Court on Tuesday extended the interim bail of Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid till October 28.
The court extended interim bail of Rashid, accused in a terror funding case, on the grounds of his father’s ill health. The court has asked him to surrender by 12 noon on October 28.
The court will pronounce its verdict on Engineer Rashid’s regular bail plea on October 28 at 1 pm.
The court had earlier extended interim bail of Engineer Rashid till October 15 in the Jammu and Kashmir terror funding case.
Rashid was granted interim bail until October 2, which was extended by 10 days to October 1.
Engineer Rashid, who was lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in connection with a 2017 terror funding case, was recently released on interim bail. His party contested in the Assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir but failed to make a mark.
